Waiting to go to seattle

So I am sitting at home. Just finished a tea party and painting nails with lily. She really is a girlie girl :) Isaiah is cleaning up milk he just spilled all over the computer keyboard. He is such a boy! :) I am ultra nurvous about my trip to Seattle considering I will be playing with some of the best players in college bands across the country...I'm quite scared they will find out that I am just a small town self taught Alaskan with hardly any professional experience. After chair tests I think I will feel a bit better. Here's to not shaking during playing tests!!!

Funny things I saw today:

Glow in the dark sunglasses

Cat wearing a rain jacket

2 mullets!

An Asian doing the peace sign...typical

Those things made my day a bit happier :)

Today I was contemplating about blogging (and the fact that blogs use words like contemplating cuz there is either something funny about it or they try to sound smart). I was sitting on a ferry going from Valdez to Whittier and while I watched my little sister attempt to balance with a juice in hand, my ukulele in the other standing on a chair on a tipping ferry I started thinking about how funny it is when people try to balance everything in their life while standing on a foundation that's about to fall apart. I wonder if those are the people who blog...or are they they people who read blogs about people whos lives are falling apart? I don't know. It doesn't really matter since I don't really know who reads this anyways and I only read two blogs.

So I'm basically just kind of bored. I have written a few emails, loaded pictures onto Facebook, checked twitter, watched the Shakiest Gun in the West (watch it. You can find it on Netflix. Amazing VERY old film), studied Music History and am thinking about watching Smallville next. I'm starting my week-long adventure with my family around Seward and anchorage. No idea how it will go since the kiddos enjoy waking me up at 6am to "cuddle" with me...which just means they bounce around in my bed until I realize I'm not getting any more sleep and I go watch cartoons with them and I watch Smallville until about 1am every night. So I thought I would write in my blog which I haven't visited in far too long (since I was traveling around Germany and realized there were funner things to do while traveling around Europe than typing on a computer).

I don't know what this week will hold or why I feel the need to share it with other people...since very few people read this I don't feel bad with wasting peoples time. But...oh well, it keeps me entertained ;)

Til tomorrow when I'm going to hold an octopus at the sealife center....ew
